What we did
The site's loose lifting gear was due its periodic visual inspection.
We checked shackles, chain slings and links, four-leg chain slings, master links, webbing and synthetic round slings, chain blocks, lever hoists, drum lifters, and mooring and lifting ropes.
Each item was examined for wear, deformation and corrosion, and the equipment was confirmed safe for use.
