What we did
A hydraulic towing winch on a vessel at Dubai Maritime City was not responding properly from either its local or remote controls.
We worked through the electrical and control circuits to find the root cause, then corrected and re-terminated the wiring and signal connections.
The proximity switches and feedback devices were tested and calibrated, and we ran a full functional check from both control positions.
The winch was back in reliable service.
