What we did
During an inspection of a 2 t SWL telescopic boom crane on a vessel at a shipyard in Hamriyah, we found damage to the existing wire rope.
We supplied and installed an 85 m galvanised wire rope to the manufacturer's requirements.
The crane then went through a load test and a functional test of all its motions, and every function performed satisfactorily within its rated SWL.
With inspection and testing complete, the crane was certified for service.
