What we did
A 35 t main deck crane at Dubai Drydocks was fitted with non-standard imported hose fittings, which made spares and future maintenance difficult.
We renewed all of the crane's hydraulic hoses and converted the existing fittings to standard hydraulic fittings and hose, so replacements can be sourced easily from now on.
After installation we ran a full functional test to check system performance and pressure integrity.
The crane worked normally with no hydraulic leakage and was returned to service.
